Rescued treasures...


My dad recently came to me with a massive pile of beautiful black and white photographs, of the floods in the Thames Estuary in 1953.
The pictures show the floods at the margarine factory of Van den Berghs and Jurgens Ltd at Purfleet, Essex. (Where apparently some distant relation worked!)
My dad was planning on throwing these photographs away, but I swiped them up! They are absolutely stunning, I don't plan to work into them but more just to admire daily!
