Fair to say I didn't want to come back.

When it came to spending birthday Cass Art vouchers, I remembered a talk from Naomi Games in University. She said that the airbrush had revolutionised her Dad - Abram's design career. So straight to the bottom floor of the Islington art superstore and picked up one up, along with a whopping can of air....
So far to go with this, need to work on handling and layering, but heres some starting points. (And as if it comes as a surprise... I'm now sewing these up into cushions. Nice!)
Sunday the twenty eighth}
A stolen poster.
One of the most beautiful posters I have seen in a long time, originally located in the toilets of a Bruges bar which sold over 100 types of beer (the peach kind was topper), now it has pride of place above my mantle piece.
(If anyone knows what it means...actually I don't know if I want to know, might spoil it!)
Bit work...

The previous banner for this blog was fairly offensive on the eyes... made by someone who knows about the periodic table rather than x-heights and spacing.
Nice to do a completely open 'brief' and revive the font I designed in the first year. Do feel the need to get back to brown paper and embroidery soon though, these Photoshop layers are doing my nut! Click here for a butchers of it in action.
Reversable Typography Cushions..
Ladies and Gentlemen... MINOTAUR.

The big bad Minotaur boxset has landed, and it looks stunning!
These photos don't really do it justice - you really need to feel the paper stock, see the french fold pages, stroke the mock fur, hold the gold cds and turn slowly through the amazing pages of beautiful images.
Still overwhelming that I was involved in such a spectacular project!
(Vamos has to be one of the best really doesn't it!)
What it feels like.
The Great British Holiday
A week of no telephone signal no Internet access, a beautiful bear and lots of Victoria sponge cake. Bloody lovely.
Now for something a little bit different!
